I tried to build the example, but got compile errosr at malloc calls found in fsm_add and fsm_default, “invalid conversion from void* to fsm_state*”. Any suggestions?

Excellent code base, I’ve been working with it this afternoon. One thing that I noticed though is that it gets caught into an infinite loop on line
poll.c 220: LOG(“WARNING: NOT FOUND hash table value for event id(%d) and sock(%d)”, i, events[i].data.fd);

Further investigation showed it only occurred when the hash table was resized due to more connections coming in.

Changing hashtable.c 477: table->mode = MODE_ALLREF;
to
table->mode = MODE_VALUEREF;

which is the mode the elements are stored in normally seemed to fix it. Though I haven’t had enough time to fully study your code yet. Perhaps you can have a look further.
