well they must have surely changed a lot, will see and make changes accordingly, the above script is almost 3 months old which is a lot of time, it requires a lot of much needed improvements

Great job!! But these vacations, the auto login script as well as torrent downloads hav stopped working……I guess these I-ON people hav done something……I hope u can help out!!!

Hey its good to hear that and i dont think there are ANY good Tech clubs/societies in MIT, i guess you already know about LUG and also so things done my IEEE are also good but i tell you one thing rather then going for Clubs/Societies do something on your own and share that with people around you, you will benefit more this way

You can actually view any process accessing a folder or device by using lsof name

well it looks like you will have to set your DNS to the above i.e 10.11.230.2 and 10.11.230.3 and it should work perfectly

Thanks for the post. I am using Linux Mint and Vodafone with a Nokia E71. It seems like everything is working but when I ping or open a webpage nothing happens. Here is my wvdial output. Any ideas?

I have this laptop (it’s great). You can actually hack it so that linux boots from the “home” button, windows xp (or whatever you want) boots from the “power” button. I have it running XP with everything (HDMI, for example) working sweetly.

ion certainly does not know how to handle things well. anyway, now theres one more thing i figured out - ion limits our network traffic, and thats why our download speeds are limited. is there a way to get around the traffic limit on p2ps and torrents ?
