Ion Auto Login script in Python
Sep 16th
i was just thinking about making the very famous IAL script of DJ in python and here is it and its damn simple
import urllib, urllib2, time
username = "Your username"
password = "Your Password"
interval = 10
data = {"loginID":username,"loginpassword":password,"flag":"0","popcheck":"0","submit":"Sign In"}
value = urllib.urlencode(data)
request = urllib2.Request("http://192.168.150.2:8080/clntAuth/clntAuth_main.jsp",value)
print "Logging In\nMade by Ankur - http://ankurs.com"
while (1):
open = urllib2.urlopen(request)
responce = open.read()
for i in range (1,interval):
print (interval-i),"min Till Next Login"
time.sleep(60)
print "Logging In\nMade by Ankur - http://ankurs.com"
or downlaod
run it by typing python ial.py
it uses urllib, urllib2 and time which are the default module, you have to change the username and password to your username and password, changing the interval changes the time interval in which auto login takes place. enjoy!!
PS – current it does no check if your connection is active or not, will add that soon

iPhone3G or Openmoko Freerunner
Jun 29th

We all have been listening ( reading ) a lot about the new iPhone 3G and how it is different, better and well cheaper from the first generation iPhone and a question came to my mind with Airtel and Vodafone planning to launch iPhone what will happen to Openmoko how many people know about it and well its available in India at a price of around RS. 20,000 by IDA system its really a great Phone to own actually Openmoko Freerunner is the second phone which will run Openmoko software and is similar to the first Neo 1973 its specification are
* Processor -- Samsung S3C2442 500MHz
* RAM -- 128MB
* Flash -- 256MB
* Display -- 2.8-inch diagonal 640 x 480 VGA Color TFT LCD
* Graphics -- SMedia 3362-based 3D graphics acceleration
* Accelerometers -- 2 x 3D accelerometers
* Audio -- "high-quality" audio codec
* USB -- 1 x version 1.1, switchable between client and host modes
* Cellular -- 2.5G tri-band GPRS/GSM (900MHz or 850MHz, depending on region)
* WiFi -- 802.11b/g WiFi
* Bluetooth -- version 2.0
* GPS -- AGPS (assisted global positioning system) receiver
Which is really great Freerunner does not have 3G but well in India at present there is no 3G and i dont think it will be there anytime this year as frequency allocation has not taken place add to that only planning is going on which will take a lot of time so remove all the 3G factor from iPhone 3G …….
Another thing Openmoko Freerunner is a complete Open Source Phone you can download the whole source code and change it according to your wish and well about the applications there will be plenty of applications available for it at no cost
So while many of people around me will go for iPhone 3G ( without 3G ) i am going to FREE MY PHONE!!!!!!
iPhone Finally gets an SDK
Mar 7th

So finally the much-anticipated iPhone / iPod touch SDK (Software Development Kit) is released, this will start third-party development for these devices. Developers will have access to the same “Cocoa Touch” framework and all other APIs used by Apple for iPhone software development apart from this they will have access to hardware-accelerated 3D graphics, location-enabled applications and full access to all the media capabilities of the iPhone. The iPhone dev center is there for what every you may need along with an Application distribution System for iPhone which has a revenue sharing scheme of 70:30 and also hosting for free applications. I am seriously waiting for iPhone to get released in India and from what i have heard it will be Reliance with the iPhone………….. any comments???

No iPhone for Me
Jul 4th
Well i know this is kind of a late post about one of the most hyped product the Apple iPhone which is currently being sold in USA for a hefty price and already being used by more then 5,00,000 LUCKY people or not so lucky considering they will have to use AT&T’s network for 2 years, sticking for a single operator for 2 years now thats something bad, I know manny people who dot stick to a single operator for more then 2 months forget about 2 years ooh where m i going. So aah… coming to the point what will i personally say about the iPhone i mean would i really like to buy it given i have the money, well the answer is surprisingly NO. i would like to tell you my points for that
1 ) iPhone comes with a 2 YEAR CONTRACT,well i dont know about what will be the case in India but that is a very strong point o me. I mean i would not really like to stick to a operator and miss those new SIM benefits lol
2 ) i know it runs a striped down version of Mac os X and Safari but it has got NO SDK ( Software Developement Kit) which means there will be no killer apps, it has webapps which are basicly AJAX apps which runs through Safari but then any Symbian phone with OS 9.3 or above can also run most of them
3 ) this might be a big reason for many people, iPhone has NO VIDEO RECORDING, cant believe what is written here but its true. It may be having that 2 megapixel camera but it really dont have video recording support.
4 ) NO CUSTOM RINGTONE ya you cant have one of your favorate mp3 tone as ringtone
5 ) NO GPS ya i know for most of the people its of no use but Google maps with GPS would rock
6 ) NO IM no SDK no apps no IM as simple as that but u can have those WAP ones but they suck big time
7 ) ALL IPOD ACCESSORIES WONT WORK that means buying seperate accessories for iPod and iPhone
8 ) NO FLASH SUPPORT which means although it has Safari Browser it wont be able to open those flash sites and possibly YOUTUBE
So my conclusion, i rather wait for Openmoko or go for Nokia N95
UPDATE:- There is you tube support in iPhone currently dunno how and most of these problems might get solved with its new firmware which is expected to be released around September.
