A simple python socket chat example

i was trying to explain sockets to one of my friend and this is what i used, the code should be self explanatory, this is a very simple application of sockets…

This is nice, I am a beginner, when I mean beginner in it…. I would love to have a tutorial on python and the networks. Of course, the code looks self explanatory, but I would love you to teach me the basics of pythons relationship with the network, and how to write a network application with those basic knowledge you would teach us… thanks a lot!
